I was really happy to see the bees playing with the body picture this morning. I heard big bee saying in a hushed voice to little bee, 'this is N-o-s-e, so that spells feet!' Lol! Bless her, I was impressed at her sounding out anyway, even if it didn't come to the correct conclusion! Was so sweet to hear her teaching little bee!
After they were dressed I got all the playdoh out. They had lots of fun playing with it. We haven't played with it in ages. Some of the homemade stuff had to be thrown out though as had gone mouldy.A friend of the family arrived while we were playing and dropped us off some goodies that he'd managed to salvage from a school clearance site. There were loads of knitting/crocheting instruction books and patterns, a few craft books and a huge very solid old flower press. Amazing! Very very welcomed!
We carried on playing with the play doh for a little longer and just as they finished and I was packing up poor little bee suddenly didn't look very well. Very green :-( he was then very suddenly really sick. Poor little man. It was the first time he's been properly sick and he looked rather confused and a bit scared.
Weird how they can go from perfectly fine to poorly at the click of your fingers.
I actually wondered to start with if perhaps he'd eaten some playdoh but as he was playing with blue I think that would have been obvious if that had been the case!
After the sick episode and everything was cleaned up we ended up going outside for some fresh air. Both bees were keen to pick some flowers for the press. We hope nanny doesn't mind, we 'borrowed' a few pretty flowers! Hehe!
They arranged there finds...
Then finally screwed the lid down tight. Really child friendly screw bits. They loved turning them!
A little rest and a movie for little bee..
Big bee made some felt pictures..
This afternoon it was horse riding! Daddy bee by some fortunate event had today off so he took big bee riding while I stayed at home with little bee. He napped most of the time they were gone so I got tea underway.
Very excited to go!
Back home again with a sticker! She was so excited as she rode minty today, her favourite :-)
Little bee was sick again later after trying a bit of tea, bless him he's obviously hungry but can't keep it down at the moment. Really hope he's better soon. My poor little man. Thank goodness for breast milk anyway! At least that's stayed down so far. *touches wood*
