Nature walk and a play at the park

A lazy morning this morning, the bees laid in till about 9. We then had a few snuggles with some books and some breakfast. Yummy homemade granola all round!
We then got ourselves ready to head out for a spot more chestnuting. We planned to meet up with our friend L with her little ones, B&B. L's sister also came along with her two children. We all went on a lovely walk in search for chestnuts. We had to wait at the train line before crossing while a train came wizzing past. The bees loved that!
We found a couple of chestnut trees but it semed they weren't quite ready, the trees were full and some on the ground but the ones on the ground were all small and shrivelled. We saw lots of wildlife on our walk, even a peacock! The highlight of course for big bee was all the horses! We saw several on the way, L came prepared with some apples for them. There was one horse with plaits in its mane, big bee was thrilled as she also had a plait in today. Shes talked about this fairly continuously ever since! Lol!

After our walk we went to a local park. We'd never been to this one before which was lovely. We love new parks! It was a really good and different park, the children loved it!
Big bee loved this 'slide with a roof', quite tricky to get to as the hill was really steep but a great challenge for them. All good learning!
She was a little nervous to start with so sent poor little bee down first!! Haha!
Trying out the rock wall..
Climbing through tunnels...
A spinning zip wire type thing!

Little bee taking on the swing bridge
Lots of giggles from them all on the big round swing. They had a lovely time..
And a gorgeous little girlie bubba watching her big bro and friends..

Really Lovely day with fab company, and two nicely worn out little bees. Little bee was asleep in bed by 8 which is unheard of! :-)
