A glittery day

We started with some Hama beads today, using Halloween colours and a 3 colour repeating pattern. We had a couple un-ironed ones so ended up ironing them all today. Big bee was desperate to use the heart one as a template to make 'glitter hearts'. She'd got a clear view of what she wanted to make today. Was sweet seeing how important to her it was.
Little bee tried to join in, big bee kept saying thankyou to him every time he added a bead so politely. She then discreetly removed them! Lol!
The ironed pieces!
Little bee amazed me today, he started playing with the alphablocks poster and laying the tiles on the matching spot. He finished the lot!! My clever little man :-) . I sometimes forget that while he is so quiet and doesn't say a lot his understanding is spot on!
Finally starting her 'glitter hearts'.. Glitter everywhere! Good job I like sparkly floors! :-)
Christmas hands apparently!
This afternoon our friends came round, we had a lovely craft session. Lots of glittery pictures were made. I'd seen an idea online where you paint over a doilly then glitter it and it ends up looking like a firework. We done a few of those then big bee decided she'd like to do some princess pics. I drew some and she coloured them in.
Little bee then woke from his nap and came and joined in.

Doing her doilly firework.. (Thankyou nanny for the lending of your doillys)
Princesses...
Little bee sprinkling his glitter..
The girls having a play.. The boys were still at work crafting at this point. Lots of 'cakes' were made and served, I even got sung happy birthday too! Lol! (Not my birthday!)
And the finished products!
Oh and a couple of party hats were made too! A busy day crafting! :-)
