Making shapes and words

I can't believe how much we have achieved today, especially as I've not been feeling my best. My poor tummy has been rather delicate today to say the least but big bee was just so determined I couldn't have slowed her down if I'd wanted too!
She wanted to make a birthday book this morning like her friend had done the other day when he was round. (His book was on dinosaurs!). She wanted to do a cake first. Then a horse as apparently she'd like everything 'horse' for her next birthday! We then progressed to just things she liked.. The birthday theme seemed to have been forgotten! I did the dots which she loved tracing against.
A slight upset when little bee 'jogged' her 'S', I say slight it actually was end of the world but we got round it and my little perfectionist was able to do a new S!
Next we had the 3d shapes out, they both explored them first while we talked about there differences and there names. (Mummy had to check the box, a few of them I had no idea!)
Next we decided to make some shapes using the template which pops right out of the shape.
Fab set, really is!
Just had to sharpen a pencil first!
Tracing round
Assembled, and checking to see if it fits inside.
Yep! We did good!
Next the cone.
Then the triangular prism
Then finally putting everything back together, a game in itself! Little bee had given up by this point and gone off to play with his tractor!
After an outfit change to her new 'Spanish dress' that nanny and grandad bought back from benidorm it was straight onto some alphablocks. She picked this magazine which had been down the side of the sofa and wanted me to help her with it.
Next it was onto bracelet making. Little bee was asleep at this point. She wanted to make one for her friends with there names on. A slight struggle as there is only so many of each letter but we got there in the end with a slight compromise on an 'i'
Later a little Spanish lady helping me with tea,
While little super man helped do the mushrooms!
Back to MORE words with pictures!
And here is a full pic of our little super man! A pressie from nanny and grandad from benidorm. They both love there pressies, thoroughly spoilt! :-) thankyou ma and pa!
