A Sunday roast

This morning we went to the carboot, found a few good bargains. Big bee took her purse and found a little barbie outfit which she wanted to buy with her money. It was 50p and she paid. She loves paying and its fab experience for her. She also wanted to buy something for little bee and found him a couple of dinosaurs. Keen to pay but the stall holder saw a little girlie trying to buy her brother something and ended up giving her them! Bless!
When we got back we started getting a few things sorted for tea. We'd planned to have mum and dad round for roast beef n trimmings :-)
Shortly after, my nan arrived round. She'd popped round to see us. I ended up convincing her to stay for tea too. Nan and little bee played outside while me and big bee made dessert.l
A sort of jam roly poly that is dairy/gluten free!
Done in the slow cooker, it was very yummy! I wish I'd took a 'after' photo as it looked lovely.
After making dessert big bee wanted to write a menu! I let her go for it. I just said the letters and she wrote them.
I was really rather impressed with he writing especially as she was writing with a tiny piece of chalk. Not easiest conditions yet some of her neatest writing. :-)
A family roast celebrating the new kitchen finally in action. Gluten/dairy free Yorkies too, they were fab!
After tea, a few bubbles!
