Halloween

Breakfast at nannies this morning! As soon as big bees eyes opened she said can we go through to nannies to see C? Little C stayed the night and there had been a promise of eating breakfast together and then a craft afterwards..
After breakie, lots of playing. This is one of big bees creations!
And another..
C read a book to little bee in her best 'teacher' voice! She taught him some words and colours. Rather sweet.
Nanny gets a hairbrush, ouch!
This is the craft that was planned.. Bless nanny she'd even wrapped them up! They look so excited!
Concentration all round..

And a spot of regular painting after
Little bee with his lined up cars
After C went home we started talking about Halloween. Big bee said she'd like a Halloween hairclip!
We had a think and a google and eventually came up with these..
We then put our glowsticks into our Halloween bottles.
All lit up :-) beautiful!

Fun with cousin C

Starting the day off (bright and early *yawn*) with a princess party..
A spot of drawing
Big bee then started spelling 'nanny' out in pens, it then turned into a pattern instead.
Little bee played his shapes game, so engrossed!
For lunch, some freshly caught fish!
They both enjoyed it for the first couple of mouthfuls then big bee gave up very suddenly.  I wonder if she found a bone as she had been really enjoying it. Little bee soon finished it up!
Horse riding this afternoon. Big bee enjoyed it as usual. She rode a new horse she hadn't rode before today - Banjo!
When we got back, her little cousin C had arrived at nannies (next door).
The plan was they were all going to have tea together round nanny and grandads. They were all so excited!
This meant me and daddy bee got to have a couple of hours together. We had a gorgeous steak tea, I also fitted in a relaxing bubble bath. Heaven!
This is the trio when mum bought them back later. They were full of it. obviously had a wonderful time!
And lastly before bed they managed to fit in a bit more drawing and colouring!

Sea fishing trip

We had our friends round this morning, the children played together lovely. Lots of fun and giggles. They played a game jumping onto the cushions on the floor, great fun! Then they paired off for a bit, the older girls wanted to make some butterfly decorations. They sat on the floor happily doing this for quite a while! The younger two were playing really lovely together in the play kitchen and using a drawing/wiping book. They shared and took turns so well with no need for help from us. Was so sweet to watch. The girls then wanted to put there decorations up...
And here they are! My fab new butterfly wall :-)
After they left I got all our things ready for our planned sea fishing trip tonight. Packed sooooo many layers for the children. Poor little bee was like a little barrel, could have rolled him down the beach! Lol! Better than them being cold though. It was pretty nippy but fine as we were all dressed for it.
Mum and dad came too, I made some chilli for us all to eat. Lovely and warming!
Helping daddy put the bait on..
Big bee was really interested and kept following daddy bee about watching his every move.
Me and my little bees..
Daddy cuddles!
Exciting times! First fish being reeled in!
We couldn't believe how well the fish were biting. Always better after a storm. Perfect timing as the tide was apparently right too. Daddy and grandad bee were reeling them in one after another!
Chilli time! Yum yum!
Some of the catches! Serveral different types of fish caught. We kept some to bring home. 6.5lbs worth! :-)
Nanny bee having some cuddles, :-) they love there nanny!
Flat fish!
Little bee with the men :-)

Papa baiting up!
And my very exciting moment of the evening, I caught a fish!! Whoooo!
A fab evening, so much fun. Lovely to spend the time with mum and dad too.
Two very tired out little fisherman bees!
