Waffle station and mosaics

The 'waffle station' was open for business this morning ;-) . Was actually really pleased how they turned out as experimented with coconut milk in replacement of cows milk. Worked out really well and actually think they were better! No sugar in them, but with delicious cherries and honey as toppings. They decorated themselves. Big bees design was amazing!
A relaxing morning followed by an unexpected little visitor! My little niece came round for a bit with my mum. Was lovely for the girls to be able to play. We've missed little C loads. She started school recently so we've seen less of her.
The children enjoyed a lunch together with a 'special lollypop' for dessert.
Followed by a mosaic activity. I bought a mosaic set yesterday and as there were two in the set I thought It was perfect timing. I didn't give little bee one to do as knew it wouldn't hold his attention above 2 minutes! It was quite fiddly but it was the perfect level for the girls.
Instead little bee done some drawing.. :-) he kept showing the girls his drawings and they gave him lots of encouragement. Was lovely to see.
He flitted between his drawings and helping daddy and grandad with some plumbing :-)

Finished!
Beautiful piccies :-)
The children all went outside and played with nanny for a bit while I strained the stock. It worked out well, had been simmering for nearly 24hrs total and was so yummy! Big bee sampled some and declared it 'delicious' :-)
After C went home we popped out to do a spot of shopping. Then homeward bound for some tea and a movie night. :-) and then later a hot chocolate before bed.  :-)
