Porridge station this morning and the opportunity to learn 4 words :-) Even little bee was pointing to the right words when I asked them which were which.
Inspiration came through the post this morning in the form of a Boden clothes catalogue!
I cut out a few outfits and supplied big bee with scissors/glue and paper and left her with the catalogue. :-) she was cutting out lots, sticking, drawing heads/arms etc, matching up outfits.. Was really sweet, she loved it.
I started sorting our lunch when our friend A rang. She wondered if we fancied going round for a play, and a park trip. I hadn't been feeling all that fantastic today so hadn't planned anything. I had a feeling like yesterday some fresh air would be a good idea. With the weather lovely outside it seemed a good plan!
We headed over and soon got stuck into an activity A had out, some painting with sponges etc..
Little bee played with some play food. After the painting there was some bouncing on the trampoline and lots of apple eating from the apple tree!
We then set off to the park, lots of running around and energy burnt up on the little ones behalf. Just what they needed.:-) some fab fresh sunny air for us all and with lovely company.
A spot of hide and seek!
Big bee found a stick and was pretending to write a 'camping list' in the air. When I showed her that she could 'write' in the dirt she was well away. She wrote her name and little bee's, and several pictures too. :-) they all had a go with the drawing.
Little bee doing what he does best, chilling! He is one seriously chilled out little man.
And after all that fun, back to a yummy slow cooked tea. An 'all day breakie'!
Yum yum! LOVE coming home and tea is already cooked. Will defiantly make again. While a fryed version is a bit nicer I'm all for ease! This was easy peasy and very little washing up!
Ready for bed and still learning, doing her letters, then a stint with her barbie tell the time book with daddy. Love how natural both bees are learning. Nothing forced, all there choice. Really think it sinks in better that way.
Little bee looking at a book, he loves pointing at things and getting you to say them. He prefers it more than a story at the moment.
Well... Amazing! both bees asleep by 8:45pm, blog done, and now a chill out with a movie for me and hubby bee. Wonder who'll fall asleep on sofa first!? :-)
