We were all up early this morning, which whilst I didn't appreciate at the time it actually worked out well, as gave me a chance to get lots done. :-) mind you I'm cream crackered now!
Before getting dressed we read all of our library books a couple of times.
First activity of the day was making some fruit lollipops in the dehydrator. Worked well and they both enjoyed doing it. Big bee done her own tray of lollys and little bee added the sticks to my tray of lollys.
Then we made granola, two types! They both had a good mix and I answered a lot of questions about it. Very excited about the granola as is very yum and gluten free. :-)
Next a spot of lunch and off to the train station to pick up our new arts and crafts teacher! :-) My cousin has very very kindly said she'd come and give the children a little lesson, an arty/crafty project. We were so excited about it, and big bee was beside herself waiting. She literally squeaked when the train pulled up! :-)
L bought along with her a wonderful commisioned piece of art she'd done for me. I'm so so chuffed with it. Its perfect! She really is very talented. I'm now looking at ordering a nice frame for it, it will hang in pride of place in our home. :-) all the little charectors in it are us, just amazing. :-)
Our friends arrived shortly after we got back from the station. They all then got stuck in to the lesson. They were making 'flowers' from bun cases and lolly sticks with lots of extra sticky bits and butterflies. They all had a go, little bee didn't last to long but it was nice he had a little go. The others had lots of fun doing the activity, they really enjoyed it. Was lovely to see them so relaxed and engrossed. My cousin L did a fab job with them, and picked a perfect activity. :-) . Hopefully she can come back again soon as she was a real hit!

After I took L back to the train station the children played outside for a while longer. a good bunch of tiny toms were consumed again! Lol!
While me and A were chatting somehow the children all ended up nudey! Lol! We only turned our back for a second but they thought it was hilarious! They ended up on the trampoline bouncing around and in fits of giggles. Lovely to see them having so much fun :-)
