Sensory gel bags & water fun!

Lots and lots been happening today.. Started off with some scratch art
Some sticker album play. Learning numbers as she went! (Each sticker is numbered)
The blue fleece hoody was big bees choice this morning even though it was swelteringly hot. I thought I'd let her suss that out for herself rather than her think I'm being mean not letting her wear it!
Our friends arrived after lunch, the children got straight onto playing! The boys were whizzing around on the trampoline while the girls hit the sandpit.
While they were playing I quickly got the activity ready we'd planned. We made some sensory gel squishy bags.
They all joined in enthusiastically, even little bee who I wasn't sure if he'd join in or not..
Big bee chose to make her 'hair gel' purple. They all filled there bags with gel and then an assortment of glitter, Pom poms, little princesses, angry birds etc..
After they finished they decided they'd like some water play so we got the hose out and basically got wet! They all loved it, lots of giggles..
We made a 'slippery slide'
Eventually we turned the hose off and next thing we realised they were all having a feast on the mini tomatoes! They are such sweet little toms, very tasty and I think they all consumed way more than one person ought to! Lol!
After our friends went home big bee asked for her pens and paper as she wanted to make nanny and grandad a wedding anniversary card. I left her doing this while I cooked tea. Little bee was asleep as he literally dropped after coming in from all the outside water play. It was strangely peaceful as I sorted tea. Big bee was so focused I didn't hear a peep from her until I went to see how she was getting on.
Here is her card..
Nanny got a mention, I think she forgot its grandads anniversary too ;-)
Happy 32nd wedding anniversary Mum and Dad! Love you loads and loads xxxxxxxxxx
Ooh and also happy 5th wedding anniversary to my sis and bro in law :-) love you guys loads and loads too! :-)
