Salt dough and Arty Party

Busy day today... Started with making salt dough. I found a recipe and decided to write it on the board so the bees could understand it. Big bee caught on really quick and was actually referring to the recipe. So sweet!
They measured, and poured
More pouring..
Mixing...
And finally moulding.
Our finished pieces. The very fiddly/delicate snowflakes are mine.
Love these :-)
A chill out reading session. Big bee read one whole book to me :-)
While I went and had a shower, the bees were busy. I came out and heard hushed whispering about how much they should charge for things on there car boot stall! Bless them! Love this so much.
I of course bought some things from the stall. I couldn't help from giggling seeing them both sitting there like this though.
After the 'carboot' I suddenly realised my clock had stopped so I found myself rushing round getting ready to go to little K's birthday party. The bees were excited!
They had a craft party done by the creation station. Was fantastic!
The children started off all decorating a party bag with stencils/pens/paints..
Then they made a fish
Then a crown
And finally (after wonderful homemade party food) they did model sculpting with clay. Such a brilliant party idea, the children loved it! Big bee was in her element, I think she single handed used nearly the whole supply of sticky gems! Lol!
Up the party table enjoying herself. Little bee sat with daddy bee to eat his food.
Big bee with her good friend T, thick as thieves with the rather special 'raw' chocolate cake. (Gluten/dairy/sugar free!) so chocolatey and yum, you'd never think it was sugar free!
After food it was bubble time! All the children there today were all home ed friends, was lovely to all be together.
The bees masterpieces!
Very proud of there things. :-)
