A lovely day out today to a local country park with a group of our home ed friends. 6 families with a combined total of 14 little people! Wonderful clear weather. Not really cold, just fresh. Perfect weather in my opinion! We fed the ducks (actually mainly greedy cheeky swans!) then walked some of the way round the lake and back.
Little bee found a big muddy puddle which he had great fun splashing in. He was totally covered in mud, his trousers, socks, boots, all saturated! Eeek! He didn't seem to care though and still bundled along with everyone! It wasn't till we stopped at the end and I took everything wet off that I realised his boots were full of water! Poor little monkey, about a cup of water in each boot! He didn't seem to care though.. Lol!
The boys bundling off, little bee in the thick of it :-)
A few of the girls and little bee
Aww! A quick pose on the bench, all in matching coats!
Even after the long walk they were still wizzing about!
Where we sat down after our walk and had a little chill!
Wonderful day, the children all had so much fun bundling about together. We got to meet one new family too. Lovely mummy and children who we'll hopefully get to see again soon. Lives quite close to us which is nice. :-)
Back home and the girl can't stop! More words... :-)
Two shattered bees tonight and both asleep early (well early for our family anyway!) :-)
