We've had a really busy fun filled day today. We started off by meeting our friend L,B,&B at the park. The children had lots of fun on the pirate ship. Tales of sharks attacking and all sorts were happening. Little bee even said 'shark came' :-). The bees ate there picnic dinner aboard the ship! Shepherds pie! Lol!
We then set off on the woodland walk, there was a low rope assult course which they all enjoyed. Little bee had such giggles trying the hanging hoops (supported by me underneath). Big bee was all smiles at getting to the top in this piccy.
Big bee and her friend B biked on some of the woodland walk. Unfortuantly some of the paths were to squishy underfoot so me and L had to carry the bikes with a pushchair each too for parts of the walk! Quite a work out! All good fun though, lovely just to see them kicking the leaves and playing with sticks. Back to basics! :-)
After our walk we went round our friends for a drink and a chat and the children all played some more.
Lovely to catch up with everyone. :-)
When we left our friends house it was pretty much tea time and as daddy bee was fishing tonight we decided to pick up a takeaway. We popped over to my nans (aka super-nanny as the bees call her) and ate them there. They bees love super nanny, and they had a great time, playing, drawing, and even a spot of yoga!
We went upstairs while there to see if we could see the fireworks out of the window that we could hear. (We couldn't) but anyway we came across this game! Fab memories, I remember playing this when we were young when we went round nan and grandads. It had my dads name wrote on the box so am guessing it started off life belonging to him!
Such a brilliant game!
After a bit the bees were getting a little wild, no doubt tired from a long day so super nanny got them doing a little yoga. Worked a treat, calmed things down. Loved watching them all doing it together. What an amazing nan in her 80's and still teaching yoga. An inspiration!
Phew, one busy day! :-) I love days like these, though equally I love quiet snuggly home days too. I think I mostly just think how lucky I am. I have wonderful friends and family and an amazing little family of bees. Luckiest mumma ever! :-)
