First christmas craft of the season

Today we had a plan to make a Christmas craft with milk bottle tops, I'd seen something simular on Pinterest. We got the tops out and the bees spent ages sorting the colours, making patterns and pictures. Great for little bees colour recognition.
They had a little dried up milk inside them so big bee washed them up.
Then we started on the activity. I piled the table high with all things sparkly, glittzy and Christmassy. The bees filled each top with Pva glue then stuck different things in each one.
Great fine motor skills practise
And the most important bit of course, the star!
And finally our joint finished piece!
I absolutly love how this turned out, so simple but very effective. The bees were so proud of themselves. I took a photo of this, added some text and this is going to be our christmas card. :-)
Can't wait to see it in print!
Next onto horse riding.. Big bee was so excited to ride minty her fav horse again. She did lots in today's lesson, was 'steering ' the horse through turns etc, more rising trott. She's doing really well :-)
