This morning I found out through a mums bargain site that the biff chip and kipper app was currently reduced to just £1.49 instead of £9.99 so I downloaded it and big bee got stuck straight in. She enjoys the biff chip kipper series we have and these are ones not in the set we own. There is also some nice little games within the app too.
While she worked on that little bee helped me sort out our picnic for the park and also get tea into the slow cooker. He loves to peel onions so I let him at them! :-)
We got to the park about 11:30 and the children got straight into playing. They all had a lovely time. We met some new friends today, two lovely children the same age as the bees. I got on really well with D and children got on well too. She lives very local to us which is nice. Have arranged to see each other next week. :-)
I'm so pleased with how our little HE circle of friends continues to grow. There really is quite a lot of us now. We're thinking about arranging a gymnastics/trampolining class between us as there is enough of us now to approach somewhere. The children all seem to get on so well, doesn't seem to matter about age or gender they just all get stuck in playing. Makes me happy to see :-) Oh and of course the bonus for me is I've met some lovely mummies who are a pleasure to spend time with.
My friend A bought along her hubby today and he was so good with the children, it was like having a children's entertainer! Lol! They all boarded the train and were heading off to all sorts of destinations.
Little bee loved J, he seems to be really drawn to males, so confident chatting to him. :-)
When we got back after a lo-oooong play at the park, we found a parcel. I'd ordered this poster below from eBay for a couple of quid. Thought it might be handy. Big bee surprised me and after about two mins counted up to 100 with very little prompting! I think seeing the numbers in front of her really helped. That's a couple of quid well spent! :-)
