Money play

This morning first thing big bee wanted to get her flash cards out and play snap. We played for quite a while and played a new made up game called 'high five'.

Little bee found a box of coins in the drawer from our last carboot and was thrilled with his find. He loves money! Lol!
Big bee got her new purse out with her few coins and together we sorted out all the different coins talking about there worth along the way.
This soon turned into a game of shops, big bee would buy a certain amount of the yellow word tiles. They were 1p each! :-)
Our made up money guide.
Later little bee went off with daddy bee to run some errands while I took big bee to her horse riding lesson. Little bee was so excited to be going in daddy's van! He apparently grinned the whole time and kept saying 'fun'.
Big bee had an amazing lesson. I was so proud of her! She done jumps today for the first time, the first jump she ever done and minty her fav pony really went for it. (More than the instructor expected) and he jumped quite high but she done amazingly! She loved it and continued to do more jumps. I also heard the instructor/teacher tell the horse leader when they first started the lesson, oh don't worry, Sophie's very good. Her rising trot is better than most 8/9 year olds! So lovely to hear. Made me one very proud mummy! :-)

Back home and playing with the Europe map we found while looking for our world map. Popping the flags on the right countries.
For tea we had some special double yolk eggs that I got at the butchers. Big bee was so intrigued, she thought I was joking to start with!
They both cracked the eggs, only one tiny bit of shell made it in and yep that was the egg I ended up with! Yum! Lol!
