After a cutting and glueing session this morning I decided we ought to make some ice lollies up for later. We re-filled our silicone 'calypso' style ice lollies and then it occurred to me it would nice to pop some fruit in some so I came up with the idea of doing it a cup and using a lolly stick. It worked fantastically well and got some extra fluid into big bee on this very hot day!
We then started to make some new recipe playdoh which I'd seen on pinterest. It's for a super soft textured dough. Sort of somewhere between play doh and moon sand.
The bees loved making it. So easy, just conditioner and corn flour! I realised after we started that it was an ideal tough spot activity so we moved outside half way. (I hadn't anticipated the hands on approach to the corn flour! Silly me!)
Felt so silky soft, and left hands pretty soft too!
Gel colours worked better than liquids I found. Liquid came out very pale like the green.
Later a quick game of shops with daddy while I cooked tea
