Shorts, shorts, lots of shorts!

Strawberry pancakes this morning, which unfortuantly were rejected :-( after being spread with peanut butter they went down just fine! My strange children! Lol!

Big bee put on a pair of shorts this morning and asked if I'd make her a blue pair the same. She wanted to pick out some fabric. We looked through my fabric stash talking about different types of fabric and she selected the blue floral. Little bee wasn't interested so we jointly picked out some stripes for him. I then thought, hmmm, actually I could really do with some shorts so picked the spots for myself. Big bee said her dolly really needed some too and the we decided to make things fair, woody would have some too. Phew, 5 pairs to make! Below are them all cut out.
And here they are done but awaiting elastic. I think woody and dolly look very happy!
Little bee modelling his

And big bee modelling hers! She is not easy to take photos of. Little monkey!
Oh and lastly, here's mine! Am really pleased with the fit. Still a bit of tidying up I could do on them all but they'll do for now. Big bee was quite interested in it all. She is my 'pin lady' as we call it and hands me pins/takes them away. Being very careful too. I didn't think little bee was very interested though did later catch him with his t-shirt and a pair of scissors! Obviously he's watching more than I think so. No damage done though. Only little childrens scissors. I'm sooo careful where I leave my fiscars, they are razor sharp!

After all that sewing a cool down was needed, I got the hose out and the bees squealed with delight as they got sprayed/rained on. Ended up obviously drenched! Was lovely seeing them giggle so much.
Must have been a long day as bedtime tonight was rather stressful. Big bee was sooooo tired but not wanting to admit it and well, little bee is still up! (10pm) sigh.. He is just chilling on the sofa though. Big bee was unfortuantly bouncing off the walls practically. Feel I need to crack the chocolate out but with little eyes watching it might not be the best thing!
