A bouncy happy day

Lovely day, we spent an hour with my little niece this morning who was round my mums next door. big bee and my niece C completed a really big puzzle and then played with there dollies. Both girls 'breast fed' them! Little bee fell asleep and then we came back to ours.
This afternoon we had friends over. J with little T and O. Little bee was still asleep when they first got here. When he woke they gave him a birthday present, some gorgeous Mellisa and doug activities. Really lovely things. They also very kindly gave big bee a little pressie so she didn't feel left out. The presents included some 'scratch art' which they all sat down and done a little of. The girls had bought there own sets along too. Really good kit, never seen them before but I can tell we'll end up doing it a lot. Quite therapeutic! I could sit and do it happily for hours! :-)
After that and a slice of birthday cake the older ones done some Hama beads. They really enjoyed it. Little bee and O joined in but just not for as long. There was a lot of princess play and lots of giggles. A lovely afternoon ended with a little Mary Poppins! Me and J had been talking about it and I'd said how I'd wanted the bees to see it and then she suddenly realised she had it in her car! Obviously meant to be! This is a piccy of them all sitting together watching it. :-)
Been waaaaay to hot for liking today again but absolutely lovely this evening when we went outside to water all our veggies etc. look at the sweet corn! Not far off being ready, can't wait!

Gorgeous evening sun.

We then decided to put our new (new to us) trampoline together. Everyone helped, the bees even carted the pieces around to the courtyard..

Even daisy the dog helped! ;-)
Big bee with one of little bees new tools from his birthday..
Little bee with his 'drill'
Me washing the trampoline afterwards, the bees ended up soaked!
Ver wet but very happy little bees. :-)

We don't have the safety net yet but this was for about 2 secs with daddy bee standing close by, after this they bounced loads holding our hands. Trampolines can be so dangerous without a net, especially when slippery and with concrete slabs underneath!
Apparently we need to go to a 'net shop' tomorrow!
Happy days! :-)
