This morning we decided to make some choccy cakes for when our friends came over this afternoon. Seemed a bit of a mad decision to bake in such hot weather but we went for it anyway. Big bee washed up the cases in preparation.
Then got down to some cake making!
Both bees joined in filling the bun cases. Silicone worked so much better for little bee as not floppy like paper cases so easier to fill. He done a fab job!
Ready for the oven
We then went outside for a bit of coloured water play. I gave each bee a bottle of coloured water and they both had lots of fun pouring, playing, 'making cupcakes' (again! Lol!)
Our friends arrived shortly after. Wasn't long before they were all soaking wet! We got the hose out and they had lots of fun running around in 'the rain' and being squirted with the hose!
Little bee was drenched but didn't seem to care.
The little munchkins all played lovely together, this was them trotting off, no doubt plotting something!

It's little bees birthday Wednesday and A, F, & M kindly bought him over a birthday pressie + 4 cards! Lucky boy! A gorgeous set of wooden construction cars. He was loving playing with it this evening. (We cheated and opened early!) making Brrum Brrumm noises and as predicted daddy bee loved playing with them too ;-)
A very busy fun packed lovely day! :-)
