This morning I asked big bee what she'd like to do today. Her answer, make and decorate some butterfly's! So that is what we done. We used our butterfly info cards and did several different types which the little bees then coloured in. Little bee scribbled and big bee tried to copy some of the colours of the different types of butterfly's. she did a peacock, a common blue and a copper one. (Mummy done a couple too!). Big bee said that butterfly's like flowers so we also done a few flowers too.
We then stuck them on a board and put them outside where they fluttered in the wind. Big bee copied down the word 'butterfly' and we talked about how if you cover up the 'f-l-y' it says butter and the other way round. She was fascinated about that!
After lunch we headed off to one of our friends for little O's 4th birthday party. Big bee soon bundled off with the others on the bouncy castle, trampoline and joined in the sack race. Cousin C was there so they were both having lots of fun together. It was all a little much for little bee. He stayed safely glued to me pretty much the whole time. He ventured off briefly at the end of the party but it was because most people had gone. I think the numbers of people worried him. Big bee used to be just the same.
We had the great pleasure in meeting the newest addition to our group today. Little baby B. She is absolutely gorgeous, her big brother was kissing her, aww, heart melt! (And now rather incredibly broody!) lol! Our friend L looks really well and I got to chat with her. She's so lovely. Such a wonderful mummy!
