Mixing it up, smoothies and colours!

We decided to make smoothie for breakfast this morning. We made it all together and both bees were really keen however after tasting it they both rejected it! Not sure why as they then ate all the same fruit afterwards. Sigh, back to the breakfast drawing board!

After breakfast we spoke to our friend A on the phone and she suggested popping over to the carboot. We weren't quite ready but had a quick wizz round and managed to get there in good time. Was a big one. Got some good bits. :-) A lovely atlas book with puzzle cubes inside, big bee found a dragon fly which you stick in the garden and little bee found a duplo cement lorry. A few other bits too. 

After the car boot we went our separate ways for lunch etc with a plan to meet up later for the children to have a play. We popped to the butchers and got some meat for the next couple of days. Both bees ended up asleep so I had a few spare minutes to relax before we headed out again.

When we got to A's house the children all headed outside, having a lovely time running, climbing, chasing each other. 'A' had found a paddling pool at the carboot which she'd filled so they had a little dip and lots of water play. 

My two bees started squabbling over a watering can and with perfect timing A bought out an activity which they all got involved in. 

Food colouring, little plastic pots, water and droppers = lots of fun mixing colours, finding out what colours together make what, making pretend drinks. Fabulous! Big bee and F were full of giggles while little bee and M starting doing some painting. 

As usual, a lovely day was had. Big bee didnt want to come away bless her.. We all love spending time with A/F/M, fab company and always so positve and happy.
