Feeling hot, hot hot!

Up and about early this morning to head off to do a carboot. Absolutely swelteringly hot! No shade, and I'm not a big fan of being stuck out in the sun. Like my shade. Missed my little bees sooo much. When I left them they were still asleep and looked so adorable. They wouldn't have liked it at the carboot though. The heat would have been to much. I swear I only just survived! Lol! Anyway on the plus, I made £70 and whittled my collection of excess stuff down a bit. i had been thinking about doing another tomorrow, not so sure now! It's meant to be hotter tomorrow.
When I got back big bee said she'd like the paddling pool out so we assembled that. Little bee helped daddy with the poles and big bee put the foam mat down with me.
Lots of fun was had, lots of splashing and almost no tears! (Almost! Lol!)
While daddy bee took over watching them I whipped in and made some burgers for tea. Made beef and lamb ones but only ended up cooking beef ones.
After tea we went out to do the watering and big bee found a big spider wrapping up what looked to be a daddy long legs. She was really interested and asking all about it. We took some photos. Unfortunately not very clear!
We went and viewed daddy and grandad bees handy work from today on the house restoration. Little bee immediately drawn to all the tools laying around. He's going to love his birthday present. (A little tikes toolbench and tools). They got on well today. My dresser is almost installed. And one double cupboard unit which they made from scratch has also been moved in. We bought a solid oak second hand kitchen on eBay and plan to use all the doors and bits and pieces but the actual units aren't up to much and my hubby has a dislike to chipboard so they've decided to make them instead. Much cheaper but more time consuming. We plan to have them all sprayed too. Hopefully duck egg blue. :-) The tiles are all down, just to be grouted now. Getting excited!

The hand made unit behind big bee, and my sparkly tiles :-)
