Thrigby Hall wildlife park

Fab faby day today, a trip to Thrigby wildlife park! The bees were so excited to be going to the Zoo, particularly little bee who even got up early to remind me we were going!
The weather forecast looked a little iffy in places but we couldn't have asked for a better day. Not a spot of rain and not to hot either. :-) so much learnt today, (me included in that!)
The first (noisy) animal we met!
The children disappeared into a little tunnel to view these porcupines..
Monkeys!
Picnic lunch time!
The leopard enclosure captured the children for ages, they were racing around it pretending to be tigers themselves!
The park!

An amazing treehouse which the bees loved so much!
Sitting on her eggs!
Tiger tunnel! Ooh, exciting!!
Little bee up in the trees viewing the tigers from above..
And big bee!
Another viewing point, amazing!
Gorgeous animals..
In the cats enclosure..
A painted stork, VERY tame!
Checking out the fancy ducks!
A coffee shop stop while the children play..
In the words of little bee, 'a whopper!'
Alligators!
Crocs!
Difficult to see in this pic but the croc was circling underneath the children here! Lol!
Otters feeding time!
More climbing fun before heading home!
What an amazing day! We enjoyed the place so much we ended up all buying a season pass. We all managed to get the children in as under 4's (for now) so it worked out very reasonable!
We can't wait to return again!
