Lovely sunny happy day today.. One of our carbooty bargains from the weekend. Make and decorate fairy jewellery.. Only £1 and includes a ton of plaster Paris. Still got looooooads left!
We incorporated a little science lesson, to see how strong seeds are. Pinterest has reliably informed me that a bean seed will crack through the set solid plaster! Look forward to seeing this!
Here they are doing the beans
Then making the plaster
Starting on the moulds
All done and drying in the sun. In for dinner time!
The bees made omelettes today, I'm ticking off mentally all the different ways they can learn to cook and use eggs. -omelettes - done!
Cheese and tomato..
Not a bad attempt!
Back to the fairys etc! Painting and decorating time!
All done and in the special jewellery box included in the kit.
Little bees animals.
And the 'science experiment'
Little bee with the new playmobil pool. Fab toy!
Next a little maths practise with weighing today's eggs and recording the weights.
We were in the lounge doing some word practise and little bee laid on the floor and just went to sleep! Bless him! Bit hot for him I guess.. We finished with the words and started on making an egg candler..
Big bee was so excited about this!
All made but we realised it was a bit bright in the kitchen to see anything so....
We made this
Amazing! We watched some YouTube vids together to learn about spotting fertile eggs. One of our 'maybe a cockerel' chickens is most def a cockerel so there has been lots of talk of mating chickens in last day or so, plus several demos from our keen little silkie boy! Haha!
I can only apologise in advance to anyone we know who comes round. You may get a well informed chat from big bee about 'special chicken cuddles' lol!
