A bit of writing practise first thing with grandads birthday card! Big bee really wanted to make him a cake too so we got to it!

We made two batches of cake mixture, the first with sugar as a sweetener (for grandad) and the second with honey. (For us!) :-)

After lunch we went all round the garden collecting pretty flowers for the flower press.
Now we wait....
Some big excitement from the chicken run today when the bees found this teeny round egg!
Weighing in at only 16g!
Little bee helped nanny with some weeding this afternoon. Found a few thistles!
Then off to horse riding!
Back home and very excited, our painted pottery pieces have been delivered! We plan to hand out the pieces to there rightful owners tomorrow. :-)
