Nice start to the bank holiday Monday, snuggly lay in with our bubba's..
We had a look around the carboot then back for a BBQ! Yumyum!
Project 'space saving hanging baskets' took place. We had some compressed blocks of compost which you added water to. Nice little science experiment for the bees. No piccys but was really actually strangely fun! It swelled up so much and became compost like magic! Little bee then helped me fill the baskets. Tomatos and cucamelons! Hubby bee then rigged up a watering system as when its super hot in the summer they are really going to need it..
The bees were dragging around a bit of rope which worried me slightly as I had horrible thoughts about strangulation etc.. Anyway I followed them and watched and found them doing this. 'Mountain climbing'. Love how much imagination they have.
Next it was 'potion making' with stones, water, petals, leaves etc!
