Wednesday morning I had a rare treat, my lovely mum looked after the bees plus my nephew so me and my sis could go out for the morning. She even said get some lunch out too! :-) was so so lovely to spend time with C. We enjoyed a nandos together, mmmm! (Thank you mummekins!)
It seemed the bees had a fab time while we were gone too. :-)
Later a lovely hack for Big bee. Little bee fell asleep just as we got there so I ended up 'slinging' him so I could walk and watch. I haven't carried him like that for ages but wow, I knew about it! Something extra heavy about sleeping little people! Lovely cuddles though :-)
It went something like this!
With lots of spinning! :-)
Our chicken feeder/drinkers arrived, yay! Here is little bee practising filling it. :-)
Then some drawing while I showered.
Came out to these masterpieces!
Big bee then wrote a letter (copied the words) which we planned to send to ourselves. A 'postal lesson' if you like! We also sent one of little bees piccys with her letter.
We went to the post office, big bee paid for her stamp after deciding she'd like first class. (Took out a mortgage for the stamp!), we then posted and talked about where the letter goes and the pick up time etc. now the exciting bit will be it arriving back here again! (Tomorrow I hope after that expensive stamp! Lol! )After this we ran a few errands, went to a huge pet store to look at chicken feed. The bees picked out some doggy treat pick n mix for daisy, bought a pigs nose too. (Funny LOUD conversation in the shop regarding that!) lol! We then went to another pet shop to look at some actual animals as the first one didn't do animals. We saw lots of different animals, snakes seemed the most amazing to them! Made me shudder a bit!
