Chicken day!

Today is a very exciting day, it is chicken day!!
We went to the chicken auction, it was amazing. Me and the bees were loving looking at all the different chickens/rabbits/ducks and even a donkey!
We wrote a (long) list of all the ones we liked and crossed our fingers. We left daddy bee bidding as it got a bit crazy in there during the actual action. We sat in the car for a while very excited to hear if we'd won any lots! We went back in and found out which hens we got. Here are the bees peering in. We got 8 chickens in the end. 4 pekins, 2 silkies and 2 speckled Sussex. :-)
In there little traveling crate ready to come home.
And... Home! The bees completely love them! They are so cute!
And here they are, our new residents!
After all that excitement we let off some steam on our swing/slide
And then some more exciting news, grandad had fixed the Thomas train that a friend gave to us. :-) woohoo! A good day all round!
