Poorly calmness and carrots

The weekend started out well... With pancakes and fun, then after lunch on saturday, Boom! Poorly little bee. :-(
Poor little man was sick continuously till about 9pm. He slept a bit but was mainly poorly sicky. He took it all in his stride mind, braver than I'd be! Unfortunately 2.5year olds don't use sick buckets so I had rather a lot of towel washing etc.
In one of the moments of sleep we did manage to make a 'calm jar'. We've been meaning to make one for ages and it didn't take long. Hoping it might help big bee in times of frustration!
Sunday afternoon after sleeping all night Saturday and all Sunday morning little bee was ready for a walk in the garden for some fresh air..
We had a play in the poly tunnel
They pulled up a huge parsnip together
Gathered all the remaining carrots..
Found a few creepie crawlies...
Little bee freaked me out a bit as we had two of these green caterpillars and we left them on the white board to look at. A little bit later I turned round and they had gone! I said to little bee, where did they go? They were so bright I thought surely it'd be obvious. He looked me straight in the eye and said, 'I eat em!' 'Yummy!'   Eeeeek! Major panic until I lifted the white board and found them tucked under there! PHEW! Lol! Little monkey!
Back inside and after a serious peeling and grating session I have lots of lovely grated carrot for the freezer. Perfect for popping a handful in various dinners!
