Spinning angels and cardboard cookies

Early morning learning with daddy bee. Playing a game on the ipad all about organs/bones/skeleton.
In the lounge to find the mischievous elf had done this with the expanding glue!
(Just so happened last night daddy bee had to fill the floorboard cracks in anticipation for the carpet arriving next week.) what good timing!
The bees thought it was amazing! They then helped daddy scrape off the excess. It had gone rock hard overnight, funny stuff!
Next an invitation to play for the bees while I showered..
Decorate the 'cookies' :-) (cardboard)
Offering me one!
Next we set about making some spinning angels, a bit of craft and science mixed in. Our friend gave us this idea this morning, a fantastic one it was too!
Big bee started cutting the spiral, I wasn't sure if she'd be able to but she really surprised me! Done it all, and pretty neatly too! :-)
We then added the angel face with doilly wings.
We hung them and placed a candle underneath, they spun really well from the heat. I explained the science behind it to the bees. We then blew out the candles and popped some baby corn on for lunch. We then realised the heat from the hobs worked even better than the candle. Fab experiment!

While I busied myself with some chores big bee sat down and drew some lovely pictures. She was quiet for ages other than a few giggles. She then produced this! Declared she was off to post under nannies door! Lol! Poor nanny! Still rather impressed at her dedication, that is a lot of writing. Love her enthusiasm! Shortly after she asked me how to spell BUM. My cheeky bee!
Later in the day we made this. Big bee loved it, great to learn how to spell the colours, and how to read the inner words. (Underneath the numbers)
Busy day crafting today, didnt venture out in the wilderness, my word its windy out there!
