This is what the bees found the elf up to this morning. Twinkle had been very busy indeed and cut them both out a tree and decorations! Made from felt so re-positionable. :-) can't wait to get them up on the wall but lounge is still in 'plaster mode'
We made some coconut milk this morning, (twice actually!) big bee enjoyed making it so much she wanted to fill our new fancy bottle up to the top, and as I fancied some hot choc too we made the 2nd batch straight after the first!
Little bee loves playing with water, he did get a soaked top though! (Hence the now topless photos)
Having a smell..
Big bees happy, the bottle is full!
Mmmm, hot choc..
Absolutely delicious! One of the nicest hot chocs I've ever had :-)
Having some magnetic fun..
The empty lounge, just after they finished plastering. The bees were finding the echoing fascinating. Big bee had a play hammer and was banging the floor. We talked about echoes/sound etc..
Looking smooth! Lol!
Little bee 'helping' the men with the skirting boards, by using them as a balance bar!
Some colouring in and name writing. We seem to have turned a corner with big bees name. For some time she's used a capital H in the middle of her name. I've never been negative about it as was just pleased she was writing but after a time I started gently talking about capitals/little letters and there place in words. Big bee said she liked the big H and didn't want a little one in there but today when I looked at her piccys I saw she had used a little h. :-)
Baby gentle steps! :-)
After the colouring we made 3 types of granola together, no piccys for some reason. We made pumpkin granola, apple spiced granola and choccy granola. All taste soooo yum, currently dehydrating! The bees sampled each one and big bee declared the pumpkin one her fav. Look forward to eating them tomorrow. :-)
After talking ALOT about the the north pole lately we looked through an atlas book tonight. We talked about north/south/east/west and the equator line and played a game about the heat of the countries moving up and down from the equator 'hot hot, warm, warm, cold, FREEZING! Etc'
Went down well and was defiantly took on board. :-)
And finally some gorgeous lovely sleepy cuddles from my little bee, followed by a wonderful long chat with big bee. Aww, times like that I just want to hold onto forever. Love the bees so much. They've been actually particularly mischievous today but I'm happy to report the mischievousness was joint and they were working together at it! Lol! (Rather than beating each other up I mean!)
Oh and look what twinkles done! ;-)
