Puzzles and stencils

Busy day.. Started off with some puzzle time. Quite a novelty for us as they've actually been put away for ages. When little bee started crawling he would pull them apart and it would frustrate big bee so much it caused so much friction I put them away. Its lovely now they can both do them together.

For lunch little bee helped me make some savoury egg muffins. Left over chicken, plus poly tunnel tomatoes, cheese and egg. They both ate them all up. Yay!
We carried on with our 'strawberry' today and after our story time earlier and reading the hungry caterpillar big bee wanted to make a caterpillar to be coming out of the strawberry.
So we got right on to it! :-) messy times!
And... All done!
Later a bit of time playing with shells, making 'cups of tea' and 'coffee' etc with the shells.
Shortly after little bee went to sleep on the sofa. Big bee picked out some things she wanted to do. Her stencil books, pens, paper. She sat quietly doing this for a whole hour. I couldn't believe how focused she was. It was amazing to see, I felt so proud of her. I even got chance to do a spot of reading!! Now that is a miracle! Big bee asked me why my book had no pictures and when I explained about imagination she seemed fascinated. Such a lovely hour. So peaceful!
It soon went 'mad' again when I had to get on with the tea.. Little bee awoke and big bee finished her drawing and all chaos resumed! Lol!
