spending more time with the butterfly's today, a bit of painting inbetween with lots of glitter involved. We then decided as the sun was out it was a good time to release them. The bees both seemed so excited!
When only two remained inside the tent big bee said can we have white butterfly's next?! She wanted to go get the caterpillars now and when I said i didn't know if that was possible she decided she'd like to keep the remaining 2 butterflies just a bit longer so we took them back in!
Next little bee had his nap and me and big bee made some choccy cakes. Our friend lent us a childrens cook book and big bee has been scanning the pages daily. She'd picked what she wanted to make so we set to work..
Hmmm.. I was a bit sort of... 'Why!?' Lol! Then I had a quick fish round to make sure no stray bits of egg shell remained as big bee cracked all the eggs on her own. I suddenly realised why she was so fascinated at the texture! Weird! Big bee decribed it as slippy with stretchy long bits, and warm.. Quite right!
Little bee awoke in time to decorate!
And after this followed an insane sugar rush for big bee! Eeeek! I now remember (again) why we avoid to much sugar! Little bee doesn't seem affected really.
After tea tonight big bee started saying she wanted to pin the tail on a pony.. So we made this below.
