A date with my little man :-)

A special day today spent with just my little bee. Big bee was off having fun at her nanny and grandads. It was terribly quiet without her and we missed her so much, but It was nice to have some quality time with my little man though.
After a fun shower complete with water pistols and lots of giggles, We played with colour lollipops to see how little bee was with his colours. Turns out he basically isn't really interested at all! Lol! He matched the colours up ok but that was as far as we got. My dad popped over with some mail and mentioned very briefly that there was a tractor in the field behind where we live and that was it.. Little bee suddenly jumped up and started searching for his shoes! He just had to get out to see the tractor! Lol! Lovely to see what captures his imagination though. Clearly coloured lollipops weren't quite cutting it! Haha! They were always such a hit with big bee I sometimes forget how different they are from each other.
When we came in we made some cheese waffles for dinner..
And then about 30 seconds of painting! Lol! I realised around this point that I needed something more physical to do with little bee. So........
The cushion mountain idea was born! Little squeals of joy from little bee as he realised what I was doing! I used the huge dehydrator box stuffed with cushions in the middle so there was a nice platform.
He absolutly LOVED it! Climbing all over like a little monkey!
After all this, and several snack/drink breaks my little lady arrived home with daddy.
Ran straight in with cuddles for me and lots of stories.. :-)
She'd had a fantastic day, she told me all about everything she'd done. Made crispy cakes, (with a detailed explanation of how to do it!)  walked to the park, been on the swings and a zip wire. Seen her auntie and baby cousin, seen the 'new house' which daddy is building, played lots of counting car games on the journey there and back. Even a trip to b&q on the way home! A very eventful day by all accounts!
