Some word card learning this morning first thing with some writing practise too.
After checking the chickens and caring for them, our next project was planting some runner beans in jam jars so we can observe them as they grow. We also then went outside and planted some 'properly' in our beds.
I found a link online for 31 days of water science experiments. I'm planning to hopefully do one each day. Some are so simple but very interesting. Today's was simply drop food colouring into water and watch. It's called 'diffusion'.
We did this and when we ended up with coloured water an idea I'd seen ages ago popped into my head. It worked so well!

Then the idea evolved into this... They are currently in the freezer, ready for some frozen fun tomorrow!
