Today we went on a lovely home ed trip to 'The Goat Shed', or as I named it to big bee before we went; 'Goat Land'. Lol!
We took my gran with us today, she loves goats so was really excited. The children were too!
When we got there the goat chap said a few words then let us loose in the goat shed. There were teeny baby goats, some only a day old! There were pregnant goats and you could actually see the babies moving in there tums! There were also adult goats and milking goats too. The children all fed the goats bottled milk. They loved it!
They had a little goat shed shop where you could buy goat products. We got one of all the cheeses between me and gran plus some milk. The children played for a bit after seeing the goats on some play equipment but it was very cold and the younger ones needed warming up so we all headed off. We had our picnics in the car while we defrosted!

Feeding the baby goats milk..
Back home and we all had a goat product tasting session. We talked about all the flavours, some were strong and some mild. Big bee only liked the very mild goats cheese but little bee loved it all. Me and gran loved it all too. I gave it a little try and have my fingers crossed it doesn't upset my tummy to much. Dairy doesn't sit well with me so we'll see!
