The hands of time.

Started the day with some daddy stories. Reading our new library books from yesterday.
Me and big bee went to homebase to pick some base paint for her clock. She decided on yellow, so we looked at all the different shades of yellow and she picked the one she liked. Meanwhile at home daddy bee and little bee were doing some 'man jobs' lol! Little bee loves doing things with daddy so much. Proper little daddies boy! Often seen wandering around with a tape measure 'measuring' things, or with a hammer or something!
Getting down to the painting!
Finally all dry later and drawing her design on. Circles going up in size..
And painting..
Looking good!
Handprint time! Big bee was amazing with this and she wanted little bee to have blue handprints on the clock too so we alternated them. I was a little concerned as big bee is a perfectionist and I was worried she'd not be happy if little bee 'messed it up'. He didn't though, done a fabulous job!
So proud of the bees with this clock face, it's so beautiful. I will treasure this forever. We bought some clock hands and a time piece at the weekend but as it turns out the hands are to small so I've ordered some more tonight. Hopefully they'll arrive soon, along with some number stickers too. :-)
Can't wait to see this on the wall!
