Real spiders and puppet spiders

This morning we got a few jobs done. I took big bee out with me to the supermarket among other things while little bee continued to help daddy bee with his work outside.
Amazing what can be learnt just going round the supermarket. Absorbing everything she saw. Also learnt about maps and map reading while we used the sat nav to get ourselves to one location. As she normally sits in the back but today was in the front she had a great view of the sat nav and took it all in.

Later on our friends came round. We looked after the children while there mummy went off for an appointment. They all had lots of fun. we made popcorn, watched a spider spinning silk, made a spider puppet, collected strange pine cones from the tree which when rubbed they flaked apart. The children used the flaky bit to fill cups and teapots for there 'party'. We also played football, went on the swings, hung upside down, fed chickens, picked veg to snack on... And prob lots more! Lol!
Just love seeing the imaginations running wild while they play. :-)
Watching in awe at a rather huge spider spinning silk..
The said spider, it was so fat!
A quick carrot snack!
After our spider viewing we decided to make spider puppets!
Hmmmm, smurf children?! Lol!
(Note the bowl of water, do you think I might have seen this coming, ;-) lol!)
These two finished there spiders completely. The younger two didn't quite finish. They all enjoyed it anyway. :-)
2 finished spiders!
