Halloween trail

Spooky green (kale) pancakes this morning.. All gobbled up in record time!
Onto the pumpkin trail at Salhouse broad.
We had to collect the clues all together to make up 5 words.
Here are the girls taking in there completed sheets. The prize was a book, they got to pick from loads of different ones. Big bee picked one called 'Sophie in the saddle' Meant to be I think!

Parks and pumpkins

A play at the park with our friends today...
Later after tea big bee decorated a cardboard pumpkin. I spotted a competition online from our local chippy. He had some plain unpainted pumpkins/skulls/spiders etc. he wanted them painted for his shop window. The best one will win a prize too. Big bee had so much fun doing this, it was lovely. I'd seen these blank pumpkins before but never bought one as they were fairly pricey so this is just perfect. Little bee didn't want to help which is probably just as well as when I asked him big bee looked horrified! Lol! She quietly told me she thought he'd mess it up! Bless him. He did end up doing a little painting on paper alongside in the end.
She decided she wanted to do a princess pumpkin eating fish and chips?! Lol!
We'll take it in tomorrow. Look forward to seeing it in the window! :-)

Craft and park

Some match stick crafting this morning..

Gorgeous day outside so we headed to the park with my lovely gran.
Little monkey boy!
Big bee loved practising turning herself over upside down.
The huge slide was a big hit. Lost count how many times they went up it..
Back from the park and straight back into creating.. Hama beads!

Party day

This morning I left on the table to fuzzy felt books. One on counting and one on first words. We got these at the carboot at the weekend. They went down well!
Last night big bee had decided tomorrow (today) she wanted to make a party. She wrote a list with,
Make jelly, make milkshake, make brownie, blow up balloons, fancy dress and egg spoon race.
Love her imagination!
We got started in the morning and then we spoke to our friends who were at a loose end so they came round to join in our party prep! Little bee was 'at work' with daddy for most of the morning.
Here is the jelly making getting started.
Our friends arrived and they are doing choccy milkshake here.
And then choccy brownie!
Yum!
Lots of playing Inbetween, complete with balloons and party poppers, and some lovely scrummy cuddles with our favourite pair of twinnnie bubs! :-)
Just before bed after a lovely day big bee drew this.
Fab party day!

Raw cookies and brownies

This morning big bee was Hama beading in the kitchen while little bee done some bead threading..
She said she was making something for auntie Clairey and I could see it when it was finished.
For breakfast we made some raw energy ball/cookies.
Big bee wanted to make some heart ones too so she could send some with her Hama creation to auntie Clairey. Love this expression! Cheeky stealing cookie face ;-)
Making a covering for the gift.
All done and ready to send to her. All big bees idea. Love the design she's done on the box. Gorgeous little string of hearts. :-)
Letting off some steam outside, bubbles with little E and nanny.
Little bee was here too but didn't want to be involved in any photos! ;-)
After lunch a friend sent this recipe and it looked so good we made it!
Me and little bee got to work. Big bee was busy drawing.

Finally cousin C arrived after school. The bees had lots of fun playing with her. Lots of running around, giggling and here some 'potion making' happening!
