We toodled off to the park today after picking up 'Mrs Owl' from her maker. Mrs owl accompanied us to the park. :-) we took the balance bikes with us for there first long run outside. The bees have used them loads around the house/garden and have been getting the hang of them. They absolutly loved them on the long winding paths of the park. They must have biked for about 1.5 hours total without showing any signs of being tired plus another hour or so on the actual park equipment. We went across to the skateboard park bit too and they plucked up the courage to try a few slopes. Big bee absolutly loved it! Little bee was a bit weary but found his confidence in the end. They both enjoyed watching an older teen doing some bike tricks in there. Big bee convinced she'd be doing the same soon! :-)
My little climber man! Climbed up so high then decided he couldn't get down, arrgh! Poor mummy bee has one seriously sore arm/shoulder so wasn't at my best to climb a wobbly ladder and then lift little bee over a ledge (while still on said wobbly ladder) and help climb down. Not my best moment!
