The bees love picking beans but quite a lot of ours had got to big and tough to eat so we decided to 'shell' and freeze the beans to add to casseroles/chilli etc. some beans were ok and those we had for tea. They enjoyed 'shelling' them and preparing them.

Daddy and big bee made a fairy house together. (Big bees design and idea) unfortunately have no photos of them actually making it other than this one. So cute though! It's not finished yet but looking good.
Our corn on the cobs unfortunately this year all got eaten by we think rats?! Not sure!
Gutted as we always get 30-40 then freeze so they last us ages.
My nan spotted a house near hers that were selling off their excess and so got some for us.
The boys peeled them and we had some for tea and we froze the rest (12)
