The bees found this in the craft draw. We bought this at the carboot several months back for £1..
I had thought this might be a little old for them but they handled it all really well and loved it!
First the bees had to lay the pieces on this diagram and then I helped them stick it together.
The pack included Pva glue, we used hot glue which worked really well. Much better than I'd imagine pva would have!
Wheels going on!
All done and a bit of a practise run!
Big bee decided to make a target with scores!
This progressed into a really lovely game which included lots of maths!
Big bee added them all up with a calculator. She loved it!
We had a look at the onager on you tube afterwards too. Fab activity!
