Busy couple of days.. Made our first batch of lard! (From organic grass fed piggies) I done most of this but the bees watched and took it all on board with lots of questions. Mainly from little bee who just kept asking could he eat it! Lol!
All done and set, with the crispy bits as treats for the dog/chickens
Packaged up and ready for fridge/freezer.
Chickens enjoying a few treats
Over the weekend daddy bee showed little bee how to set a rat trap in the chickens. This morning he'd found they had caught one. The bees were fascinated!
Cube sculptures!
Meanwhile little bee helped me with the apple/pear crumbles..
Big bee couldn't resist joining in!
Then straight back to her dress designing. These are apparently available to order ;-)
She drew little coat hangers and used blue tack to 'hang' them. She made people which the dresses fitted. Amazing, just love her imagination. She was so pleased and proud of herself. She dressed and undressed her little people lots and lots for the rest of the day.
