Space afternoon

Exciting day, we have been kindly loaned an incubator from my uncle. The bees are so excited to get some more fertile eggs to put inside. Hoping to get some Friday.
We looked all over the incubator and brooder and discussed how it worked (really thoroughly). Amazing how focused big bee is when it's something she's so interested in. Wonderful to see her so passionate about something. :-)
Next step, make a count down calendar for our broody hen eggs.
This afternoon we planned a space afternoon with our friends.
I'd collected these sets from carboots. as they were all a bit different but all had a mobile to be made within I split them all up so each child had the same. Then we were left with various different rocket/science experiments.
Gorgeous outside so we did it out there in the fresh air.
Painting our planets..
Little bees was a slightly simpler version which was perfect really as being younger obviously he doesn't have quite the same attention span.
Daddy bee arrived home and helped with one of our rocket experiments.
Our friends completed mobiles ready for the tricky task of getting them home without getting tangled!
Ours hanging proudly on the ceiling!
Looks fab and big bee is so pleased with it! :-)
