Beads, birthdays and broody birds

A few piccies from the weekend..
Bead fun!
Big bee was at this for ages, completed 2 full Hama boards with no help. :-)
Word games before bed, -build a sentence!
Little bee has shown a real interest in books lately. Is lovely!
All ready for Cousin E's 2nd birthday party! Big bee testing her new dress out!
Birthday tea!
Gorgeous little squidgepot! Can't believe he's two, seems only yesterday I saw him pop into the world. Love him!
The boys really played at the party, more than ever. The age gap is starting to close. We all laughed as we found them outside, E had the hose and little bee had managed to turn it on. They looked absolutely thrilled with there mischievous teamwork! :-)
Sunday morning poultry auction! Yay! Shopping for fertile eggs and another couple of chickens. Big bee was soooooo excited to be getting fertile eggs. I think it's going to be a long 21 days!
These are the eggs we won! (Leghorns)
And these are the chickens we won, light Sussex!
Big bee fell in love with this Shetland pony!
Our friends joined us at the auction, they were after buying guinea pigs. They unfortunately didn't manage to win any but the children all had fun together anyway. Collecting all sorts of bits n bobs, making a campfire!
Back home and settling our new friends in..
Broody hen 'blacky' very happy with her fertile eggs to sit on!
Fabby weekend!
