Lovely day

Lovely day today, started off with our usual dash around to get to our home ed music group. Big bee said I could go and chat with the other mummies today and she'd like to go in on her own which I was really pleased about. So nice to see her gaining confidence in a gentle way. Times like that makes me so glad I haven't sent her to nursery/preschool where I know she would be so upset at being left. 

Had a lovely chat with some of the other home ed mummies during and after the session, came out feeling so positive about our home ed journey, love it! 

After music we popped down to pound land and hobby craft for essential supplies and then headed back for lunch.  Chicken fajitas for tea and out to the poly tunnel where we all spent a lovely evening together as a family. Veggies were watered, little bee and daddy planted out the red onion seedlings and big bee insisted she needed to cut some herbs so we decided to take some mint off and add it to the strawberries that we had waiting for us when we went back inside. I've never tried mint with strawberries before though I know they 'pair up' as such. Big bee loved hers, no one else did. Naughty mummy added sugar to hers instead! Whoops! Anyway lovely end to a lovely day. Xx
