Have had a real child led day today.. Had some jobs to do so I took a step back and mainly watched. Love seeing them work together. This was a word/spelling game which worked for them both wonderfully. For big bee it was all about word recognition and for little bee it was letters. :-)
I don't have any photos of this next bit as I wanted to leave big bee to it. She absolutely amazed me though. She found some curtain rings. Painted them, glittered them once paint was dry. Found some flat pack boxes which she assembled. Then labelled and bagged them. Gorgeous! She made 3 for friends too. Really sweet and even more special as I didn't as much as even fill her paint pot. It was all her. :-)
We saw an idea on a friends blog, making people letters. The bees loved the idea and immediately got to it tonight. We spelt out 'snow' here. We tried lots of other letters too. Thanks S for the idea!
Just before bed and the elves are up to tricks again. They have got jumpers on and hiding in the fridge!
