Play day
A busy play day for the bees today, this morning our friends popped by to pick something up, which turned into an impromptu play. Was lovely as they hadn't seen there friends L & A in a while.
This afternoon myself and hubby bee had a very sad family event to go to. My sister and brother in law very sadly lost there little baby boy J after just a few days of him being born.
We were honoured to meet him but heartbroken it was to say goodbye as well as hello. He was absolutely perfect, a beautiful little man. He might have been small but will leave a huge huge hole in everyone's lives.
While we were away, my lovely friend A looked after the bees.
They had a wonderful time, full scale water fight, ice lollies, and generally lots of mischief and giggles!
My cheeky little man with the hose, watch out!
Love this, looks like little ladies having a chat over ice lollies!
So adorable, there's something about the backs of babies heads, very cute!
Not long boys and you can join in too!
Big thank you to A for having the bees. They came back having had so much fun and were suitably shattered! Xx

Electric circuits and morse code
This morning we had a play with our new (new to us) electronics lab. This is kind of a step up from the other one we use as this one is more intricate and fiddly. I think it's actually aimed at much older children but we don't let things like that deter us! ;-)
Big bee picked the circuit she wanted to make 'morse code'. Little bee watched interestedly. The shirt he's wearing is one he fabric painted the day before. They both done a top and loved it. Little bees does slightly give the illusion of having spilt egg yolk down it bless him but he loves it so I've tried to put that bit out of my mind! Hehe!
Morse code by light circuit
Done!
Morse code by beep sound circuit done!
We talked about morse code for some time then had a play spelling out words etc. big bee loved it!
Today was actually the 10 year anniversary of when me and hubby bee first met.
I set off to meet this young chap with not a clue in the world that 10years later we'd be married and have 2 precious little children age 3 and 5! It has been a wonderful 10 years and I feel truly lucky we 'found' each other. Hubby is my best friend, husband, and fabulous daddy to our bees. He's so hard working, and kind, and would do anything for anyone.
Love you lots hubby bee!
