The bees building a platform for a new huge waterbut to sit on

Seed planting, seeds picked by the bees.

And mushroom compost shifting! A family effort!

Bit of science.. The compost was hot and steaming..

The grand national

Just found these pics from a few days ago.

A beautiful sunny day for the bees over at Auntie C's.

Birthday card making

Drawing

Another day, a lesson on : odds, gambling, (lol) horse racing! The grand national!

We each picked a horse and had a few pence bet on them.

They really enjoyed watching it!

All about horses, and tigers.

Lap book creating!

Learning how horses are measured in hands and what her 'hand height' is.

Gathering more horse info!

After little bee saw big bees finished book he wanted to do one on tigers!

Big bee found him a tiger book

And they got to work together.

Little bees garden and big bees fly screen

A lovely sunny day!

Little bee went off to 'work' with daddy bee. Which meant he had to have work boots on! Hehe!

(Hubby was working at my grans today.)

Meanwhile me and big bee had a little girlie time. We did a fancy hairstyle!

We Played with toys and while doing so had to get several stray bees out of the house. They just kept coming in through the patio door!

We decided we needed to make something to help so between us we designed a fly screen. We were talking and thinking of asking daddy bee to help us make it when he got back when I suddenly thought, hey! We should have a go! Woodwork is not really my strong point but we went for it and we were so proud we did. We did it! Big bee helped with measurements of the door, we then went outside, found wood. We measured and cut together then sanded!

Here we are assembling the frame..

Laying out the net

Stapling it on.

Done!

It works a treat! :-)

Next was this kit..

Making the plaster up

Filling the moulds

Done!

Meanwhile my littlest bee was having a whale of a time over at grans. They created a 'veggie garden' together. Planting pretend 'sweetcorn' (bush clippings), a pumpkin (the ball) and several other things that little bee animatedly told me about upon his return!

Some butternut squashes even 'grew!' :-) love it! Love imaginative play like this, so special. Thankyou so much gran for having the little man over. He had such an amazing day!

Easter 2015

Raw chocolate Easter egg making while the bees were at nanny and grandads

Story time, read by big bee

Cakes made at nannies!

Easter morning, we bought the bees a bucket and spade little set and refilled the sand pit :-) plus the raw choccy egg of course.

Very happy bees!

Playing in the sand pit! They have been non stop playing with this ever since. It had gone rather grotty from last year so glad we refreshed it.

An Easter sewing craft..

All done!

And a yummy easter tea! The bees picked to have dippy eggs for an Easter tea, not hard to please, bless them!
